OUR STORY

Digital Arena NYC was founded in 2022 by four friends who shared a common vision: to create a space where gamers, tech enthusiasts, and professionals could come together in a premium environment. Alex Rivera, our CEO, was frustrated by the lack of high-quality gaming facilities in New York that could serve both casual and competitive players.

What began as a small 20-station gaming café in Brooklyn quickly gained popularity among local gaming communities. By 2023, we had expanded to a 5,000 square foot facility in Manhattan, adding coworking spaces to accommodate the growing demand from remote workers who were also gamers.

In 2025, we made our biggest move yet, relocating to our current 15,000 square foot location on Broadway Avenue. This expansion allowed us to create specialized zones for different gaming genres, professional tournament areas, and dedicated spaces for VR experiences, while significantly growing our coworking capacity.

Today, Digital Arena NYC stands as the largest gaming and tech hub in New York, hosting over 50 events monthly and serving a community of 5,000+ active members. What sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to quality—from our state-of-the-art equipment to our meticulously designed spaces and exceptional customer service.

Mei Zhang

CTO & Technical Director

Hardware specialist and network architect who ensures our technical infrastructure stays cutting-edge. Mei oversees all equipment procurement, network optimization, and custom hardware solutions with her background from MIT and Microsoft.

Jamal Washington

Community Manager & Events Director
